Adele shared two photos of herself enjoying the BBC’s repeat of her 2016 Glastonbury headline performance.
The singer posted the images to Instagram, telling fans that she was “five ciders” in.
One of the photos showed Adele wearing her pyjamas as she held a fan to her face. She then changed into the dress she wore for her performance on the Pyramid Stage.
Adele, who broke Glastonbury’s swear record during her performance (later beaten by fellow headliner Dave Grohl) began her set with international hit “Hello”, from her album 25.
She closed with a particularly emotional rendition of another hit, “Someone Like You”, from her album 21.
Thousands of fans posted to social media praising the show, with one commenting: “I love Adele. Sings like Billie Holiday, talks like Barbara Windsor.”
Among the celebrities to comment on Adele’s post was her friend, grime star Skepta, who joked: “Finally got your Instagram password lol,” suggesting Adele had been locked out of her own account.
Adele has reportedly been working on a new album, but recently confirmed to a fan that new music won’t arrive anytime soon due to lockdown.
Responding to the fan’s question about any new music updates, she wrote: “Of course it’s not. Corona ain’t over. I’m quarantining. Wear a mask and be patient.”
